Sales and Leasing Consultant

The Opportunity

We are interested in additional Sales Consultants to join our Sales department. The role reports to our General Sales Manager. You have the opportunity to sell both new & used inventory. Typical shifts are 9am-5pm, 1pm-8pm, and the role requires Saturday shifts.

We are interested in candidates who:

    • Have a love for selling
    • Are self-motivated, goal oriented
    • Consistently exceed customer expectations with their sales approach & ability to build relationships
    • Pride themselves on being a product knowledge expert who can sell the true value of the vehicle
    • Tailor their selling approach based on the clientele
    • Have strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively negotiate and answer questions & concerns

Part Time Detailer

We have an immediate need for a part-time Detailer to join our busy Sales Department. Hours of work are Tuesday to Thursday evenings from 5pm-8pm and Saturdays 9am-3pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Hand wash, wax & buff exterior of new & used vehicles
  • Clean interior with vacuum, shampoo, and cleaning products
  • Engine shampoo
  • Run vehicles through the car wash
  • Apply touch-up paint to chipped body surfaces
  • Follow delivery schedule, communicate with the Business Office to confirm the delivery schedule is being followed correctly
  • Vehicle check-in from transport

Experience & Skills

  • Previous detailing/car washing experience
  • Attention to detail, takes pride in the quality of their work
  • Strong time management skills
  • Flexible to changing schedules and deadlines
  • Ability to follow directions

Qualifications

  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License with clean abstract
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles

Licensed Technician

The Opportunity

We have an immediate need for a Licensed Technician or 3rd Year Apprentice to join our busy Service department. Enjoy working in a newer facility, with an air conditioned shop, onsite car wash, and service drive-thru! The Technician will join our existing team to deliver a superior experience to all of our service customers. The incumbent will be required to work Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, one late night during the week (until 8pm), and alternating Saturdays (8am-3pm). This role reports directly to our Shop Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Receive daily repair orders from the Shop Manager
  • Perform a variety of vehicle maintenance & repair jobs, as indicated on the work order with accuracy and efficiency in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Inspect and diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform repair
  • Save and tag parts requested by customer or under warranty
  • Examine the vehicle to determine the need for additional safety or service work, notifying the Service Advisor if further work is recommended
  • Document work performed
  • Road test vehicles
  • Attend Ford sponsored training sessions

Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous Ford experience is desired, but not mandatory
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License with a clean abstract
  • Ability to lift 50lbs comfortably & safely
  • 310S License, or registered as an Apprentice working towards your license

Part Time Receptionist

We have an immediate need for a part-time Receptionist to support our dealership in delivering an exceptional experience to all of our customers. The successful incumbent must be available to work 2 evenings a week + Saturdays, with the potential for more hours to cover vacations and during busy season. The role reports to the full-time Receptionist.

The Responsibilities include:

  • Answering incoming calls and appropriately directing them
  • Greeting customers upon arrival at the dealership
  • Supporting dealer trades
  • Stocking in new & used vehicles
  • Licensing
  • Additional ad hoc support as per the direction of the full-time Administrative Assistant/Receptionist, General Manager or Sales Management

Experience and Attributes:

The ideal candidate has experience in a similar role, in a dealership environment

Professional & courteous with customers

Strong verbal & written communication skills

Effective multi-tasker who can seamlessly juggle multiple deadlines & processes

Detail oriented individual who takes pride in the accuracy of their work

Strong computer skills, with a track record of learning new programs with ease
