Sales and Leasing Consultant
The Opportunity
We are interested in additional Sales Consultants to join our Sales department. The role reports to our General Sales Manager. You have the opportunity to sell both new & used inventory. Typical shifts are 9am-5pm, 1pm-8pm, and the role requires Saturday shifts.
We are interested in candidates who:

- Consistently exceed customer expectations with their sales approach & ability to build relationships
- Pride themselves on being a product knowledge expert who can sell the true value of the vehicle
- Tailor their selling approach based on the clientele
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively negotiate and answer questions & concerns

- Performing inbound/outbound calls for service department
- Service/Appointment Reminders, reaching out to no shows& rescheduling appointments
- Support seasonal campaigns and recall notices
- Book appointments with attention to Manufacturer/Dealer recommended maintenance schedules
- Respond to all customer emails with accurate information and in a timely fashion
- Cashing out customers at the end of their appointment
- Retrieve customers from the lounge to inform them that their vehicle is ready
- Provide additional administrative support as directed by the Customer Experience Manager (ie: warranty administration/submission, recall administrative support, seasonal campaign support, etc)
- Work in conjunction with the Parts & Service team to provide excellent Customer Service
- Positive & professional attitude
- Responsive to customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing customer inquiries, calls, emails, etc.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail
- Confident with learning new computer programs/software
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal (in-person and over the phone)
- Previous experience in similar role is preferred
- Customer service experience
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Hand wash, wax & buff exterior of new & used vehicles
- Clean interior with vacuum, shampoo, and cleaning products
- Use the onsite car wash
- Follow delivery schedule, communicate with the Business Office to confirm the delivery schedule is being followed correctly
- Vehicle check-in from transport
- Clay bar experience
- High speed polishing & touch up paint experience is desired, but not essential
- Attention to detail, takes pride in the quality of their work
- Strong time management skills
- Flexible to changing schedules and deadlines
- Ability to follow directions
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License with clean abstract
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
- The Service Advisor has a wide variety of responsibilities, including but not exclusive to:
- Greeting customers on the phone or in person
- Scheduling appointments
- Explaining the nature of repairs to customers, liaising between the technician and the customer
- Providing repair recommendations to customers
- Advising customers how to maintain their vehicle
- Selling parts & labour
- Providing an extraordinary experience for all Fines Ford Lincoln customers
- Utilizing Ford corporate programs when required (ie: FMC360, Prior Approval)
- Providing updates and escalating issues, when required, to the CE Manager
- An Advisor who interacts with customers in a kind, empathetic and professional manner
- Ability to handle a high volume of customers/appointments without sacrificing accuracy
- Ability to build rapport with customers
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Team player who knowledge shares with peers and manager
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Experience
- Appointment booking experience in a shop or dealership
- Previous experience with PBS is an asset, but not mandatory
- Previous Ford & Lincoln experience is an asset, but not mandatory
- Valid Ontario Drivers License and a clean driver record
Licensed Technician
- Receive daily repair orders from the Shop Manager
- Perform a variety of vehicle maintenance & repair jobs, as indicated on the work order with accuracy and efficiency in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
- Inspect and diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform repair
- Save and tag parts requested by customer or under warranty
- Examine the vehicle to determine the need for additional safety or service work, notifying the Service Advisor if further work is recommended
- Document work performed
- Road test vehicles
- Attend Ford sponsored training sessions
- Previous Ford experience is desired, but not mandatory
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License with a clean abstract
- Ability to lift 50lbs comfortably & safely
- 310S License, or registered as an Apprentice working towards your license
- Positive & professional attitude
- Proven record of quality workmanship
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently
- Strong problem solving ability to accurately diagnose problems
- Respectful of timelines and deadlines
- Proven ability to be a strong team player
- Willingness to learn & acquire new technical knowledge (ie: attending manufacturer’s training courses)

Part Time Receptionist
- Answering incoming calls and appropriately directing them
- Greeting customers upon arrival at the dealership
- Supporting dealer trades
