Financial Services Manager

Fines Ford Lincoln has an immediate need for a full-time experienced Financial Services Manager (FSM).  The successful incumbent is a sales professional who has a passion for selling, quickly builds rapport with customers, and has a track record of success in the FSM role.  The FSM will support the business' mission of offering 100% of the financial services products, to 100% of our customers, 100% of the time.  

The Financial Services Manager would report directly to the General Sales Manager.  The successful incumbent will need to work flexible hours (evenings and Saturdays) to support the needs of the business and its customers.  

 

The Financial Services Manager has a wide variety of responsibilities, including but not exclusive to:  
•    Ensures every customer has all repayment, risk management and vehicle protection options reviewed and explained 
•    Ensures full disclosure to customers of the costs, terms and contractual obligations of any finance and/or lease transactions, as well as any products and services offered
•    Selling of all products and services that protect the customer's vehicle including: extended warranties, pre-paid maintenance, electronic rust modules, protective chemicals, and insurances
•    Achieve targeted sales quota within budgetary guidelines
•    The FSM must continually educate the salespeople and other managers to ensure they are also in compliance when obtaining a credit application, pulling a credit bureau report, offering Ford programs, and negotiating the sale or quoting payments.
•    Completing credit application with customer, and then reviewing the available finance options to meet their needs
•    Secure acceptable financing for customers 
•    Converting outside finance customers to dealership financing 
•    Responsible for all necessary and/or related funding; license fees, down payment, finance funding, leasing funding, etc.
•    Responsible for directing Reception to complete daily licensing accurately and on time
•    Maintain control of all the paperwork until it is ready to be turned in to the accounting office 
•    Responsible for claiming all Ford incentives and programs in a timely manner, and verifying funds received
•    Responsible for daily updating of FSM's columns in Deal Tracking spreadsheet
•    Schedule, monitor and control all daily deliveries with sales staff and customers
•    Responsible for reporting sold units to Ford

•    Experience in dealership environment, at least 5 yrs 
•    Previous experience in selling the full suite of financial services products 

•    Strong closing abilities

We have an immediate need for a Licensed Technician to join our busy Service department. Enjoy having your own bay, working in an air-conditioned shop with an efficient electronic dispatch system, onsite car wash, and service drive-thru! The technician will join our existing team to deliver a superior experience to all of our service customers. This role reports directly to our Shop Manager. the incumbent must be able to work alternating Saturdays (8am-3pm) and some evenings. The role reports to our Shop Manager.

  • Receive daily repair orders from Shop Manager
  • Perform a variety of vehicle maintenance & repair jobs, as indicated on the work order with accuracy and efficiency in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Inspect and diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform repairs
  • Save and tag parts requested by customer or under warranty
  • Examine the vehicle to determine the need for additional safety or service work, notifying the Service Advisor if further work is recommended
  • Document work performed
  • Road test vehicles
  • Attend Ford sponsored training sessions

Fixed Operations Manager

Fines Ford Lincoln has an immediate need for a full-time Fixed Operations Manager to lead our Service & Parts departments.   The incumbent is an experienced Fixed Operations Manager who has a track record of managing the Service & Parts departments to profitability and customer satisfaction.  This role reports to the General Manager.

4 Main Areas of Responsibility: 


1.    Supervise, direct and lead all aspects of the Service and Parts Departments and their operations.
2.    Maintain a high profitability in all areas by setting pricing and monitoring all departmental expenses.
3.    Monitor and uphold all manufacturer warranty programs for high profit and claim accuracy. 
4.    Develop and maintain processes & routines that foster a high level of customer satisfaction as measured by the Customer Experience Index (CEI) rating.   

  • With the General Manager, develop departmental objectives and manage the Service & Parts departments to a high level of achievement.  
  • Monitor & track key metrics for the Service & Parts departments, highlighting trends and using this information to make informed decisions about pricing, marketing, inventory levels, etc. 
  • Prepare and manage the annual operating budgets of the Service & Parts Departments. 
  • Develop and launch a marketing plan to solicit new customers and retain existing customers for both departments. 
  • Manage, review & approve the following programs: GCCT, Prior Approvals, After Warranty Adjustments, Ford Pass Rewards, Customer Transportation support (ie: rentals, loaners, shuttle, unit down, Lincoln pick up & delivery) 
  • Oversee all aspects of warranty policy, understand and implement guidelines with regard to warranties, see that claims are appropriately processed and ensure Advisors are accurately informing customers of warranty 
  • Maintain high quality repair service experience and reduce returns to the shop; check work performed with the focus on "fixed right the first time" metric 
  • Review recommendations for shop equipment/tool investment 
  • Prepare lists of labor costs for the more routine maintenance jobs 
  • Oversee Parts department inventory control (purchasing, stocking, pricing, counting parts, aged inventory levels) 
  • Ensure obsolescence and core returns are done in a timely manner, optimizing program return rules
  • Support the growth of the wholesale parts business 
  • Maintain proper and legal practices in receipting, costing, and selling 
  • Keep abreast of federal and provincial regulations and municipal bylaws governing maintenance work, such as those concerning the removal of hazardous waste, etc.; understands and observes them

  • At least 5 years of experience with a high-volume Fixed Operations department 
  • 310S designation is preferred 
  • Excellent customer service skills 
  • Strong people management skills; demonstrating an ability to delegate, hold the team to account and deliver on results. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Organizational ability and attention to detail 
  • Experience with PBS is an asset 
  • Full Class G license and clean driving record
